Federal Program Description The Office of General Services administers "The Emergency Food Assistance Program" (TEFAP) on behalf of the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) in New York State.  The program provides eight regional Food Banks in New York State, with USDA administrative funding and USDA foods.

ARRA Reporting Under the "Section 1512" reporting requirements, we will be submitting data as the "Prime" recipient no later than October 10, 2009.  Data will be collected from our eight sub-recipients (Food Banks) to confirm/validate the level of funding received and the level of funding that was expended as of September 30, 2009.

Flow of Funds All Food Entitlement value (non-cash) was distributed to the eight Food Banks.  In addition, all FFY2009 administrative funding has been distributed to the eight Food Banks.  $7,736,734 was distributed during FFY09 ($6,186,287 in food value and $1,550,447 in administrative funding).  Another $1,550,447 in administrative funding is scheduled to be distributed to the eight Food Banks in FFY2010.
