Flow of Funds Funds are administered directly by the federal government, they do not flow through the State.  The funds for health IT were released as a pre-award list of non-localized projects broken down as:  $61.7 million for EHR development and deployment; $2.5 million for personal health record development; almost $16.7 million for telehealth and network infrastructure; and just over $4.1 million for project management, transparency and administration.
Deadline IHS anticipates that it will obligate approximately 75% of the ARRA funds in FY 2009, and 25% in FY 2010.

Deadline Multiple vendors will supply products and develop services, some of which will be deployed to IHS and tribal health care sites located in 35 states. To ensure security, efficiency, quality, and to lower overall costs, other services and support will be accessed through a wide-area network or web-interface.
