Federal Program Description Federal Additional Compensation provides an increase of $25 in weekly unemployment compensation benefits to individuals to provide additional relief to the unemployed.

ARRA Reporting ARRA requires: Benefits – payments associated with the federal additional compensation must be identified separately on the normal benefit reports submitted to the U.S. Department of Labor.

Administration - quarterly reporting of obligations and expenditures against funds received once received.

Flow of Funds Benefits - New York State Department of Labor draws down funds daily from the Federal Government to cover payments which are made directly to Unemployment Insurance claimants.
Deadline Benefits - eligibility ends 12/31/09, and the last federal compensable week of benefits is 6/30/2010.
