This program opportunity is for industry members or industry-led partnerships that propose to develop, deploy, and test hydropower projects that would modernize the existing hydropower infrastructure in the U.S. and increase both the quantity and value of hydropower generation, including environmental performance. The focus is on supporting the deployment of turbines and control technologies to increase and maximize system generation at existing non-Federal hydroelectric facilities. This is part of the Applied Research, Development, Demonstration and Deployment Activities program for technologies related to energy efficiency and renewable energy.
