| Flow of Funds |
EPA distributes funds by formula to states. Projects that have previously submitted a pre–application and engineering report and that need funding during the current Federal fiscal year are included on the State’s Readiness List of the Intended Use Plan (IUP). The limited availability of funds determines the number of projects that can receive financing.
